Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting and two years of accounting experience; OR Bachelors degree to include 9 semester credits in Accounting and two years of accounting experience; OR four years of additional accounting work experience and two years of college coursework are required.

Recruitment Notes

The Accountant 3 position is responsible for overseeing financial administration and capital accounting operations; supervising accounting staff; managing capital budgets and multi-year capital plans; preparing financial reports and reconciliations; allocating costs; and ensuring compliance with fiscal policies and procedures. The position also plays a critical role in supporting the Division Director by maintaining accurate financial operations and providing effective oversight of capital construction and operational expenditures.
