Role Summary

We are seeking an Accountant to support day to day accounting operations, assist with a NetSuite implementation, and contribute to building a strong internal accounting foundation. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with finance leadership while playing a key role in accounts payable, month end close, grant accounting, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable transactions and vendor payments
• Code expenses and invoices to appropriate grants and funding sources
• Prepare journal entries and support month end close activities
• Create accounts receivable invoices and process cash receipts
• Perform account reconciliations and maintain accurate financial records
• Track grant activity and maintain supporting documentation
• Support NetSuite operations, reporting, and process improvements
• Assist with audits, financial reporting, and compliance requirements

Key Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience with accounts payable and journal entries
• NetSuite experience strongly required
• Experience with Bill.com preferred
• Strong Excel skills including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs
• Knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills
