    Description

    Job Title: Accountant & AuditorWork Location: Edison, NJJob Description:Use QuickBooks for preparation of accounts and payroll services for various clients.Prepare projected financial statements and perform analysis of financial statements.Prepare payroll for employees.Process and prepare all invoices for payment.Prepare checks for signature and delivery (company owners will sign and send).Manage accounts receivable and client invoicing, perform account reconciliations, prepare routine journal entries.Communicate frequently with customers for invoice receipts.Review and analyze general ledger transactions and reports.Carry out billing, collection and reporting activities according to specific deadlines.Monitor customer account details for non-payments, delayed payments and other irregularities.Review accounts receivable aging to ensure compliance.Format financial statements as per client requirement.Develop a recovery system and initiate collection efforts.Communicate with customers via phone, email, mail or personally.Assist with month‑end and year‑end closing.QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Accounting with 5 years of progressive accounting experience covering all areas in this position description.For certain positions, we accept equivalent education, training and/or experience that would qualify an applicant to perform the duties of the job offered.Demonstrates organizational skill in process improvement and proven results driving positive change management initiatives that increased quality, value and customer service scores in a small to medium corporate environment.Proven leadership ability delivering results, exceptional communication skills, ability to multitask and attention to detail, quality and customer service.Superior knowledge and experience in QuickBooks, MS Word, MS Excel, reporting operations, and internal computerized applications.Proven track record of delivering accurate, quality results that provide value to clients and stakeholders.#J-18808-Ljbffr
