Our finance team plays a direct role in keeping that practice strong, and this position offers a chance to work side-by-side with the Controller, gain broad exposure across the full accounting cycle, and grow your expertise in the healthcare space.
If you take pride in clean books, clear reporting, and being the person others can count on, you'll fit right in here. Position Summary
Working closely with the Controller, the Accountant helps drive the day-to-day financial operations of the practice - maintaining accurate records, managing accounts payable and invoicing, preparing reports, and supporting the month-end close. This role also partners with the HR Manager on payroll duties as needed and helps ensure compliance with healthcare accounting standards and regulatory requirements. What You'll Do

Help maintain the integrity of financial data within the practice's accounting systems.
Accounts Payable & Receivable Support
Process accounts payable, verify invoices, and ensure accurate, timely payments.
Assist with invoices and the application of incoming payments.
Investigate and resolve discrepancies, working with vendors and internal teams as needed.
Budgeting & Reporting
Prepare clear, accurate financial reports and schedules for review by the Controller and leadership.
Assist in developing and monitoring budgets and help analyze variances against actuals.
Support ad hoc financial analysis that informs operational decision-making.
Audit & Compliance
Support internal and external audit activities by preparing schedules and supporting documentation.
Help ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and healthcare regulatory requirements.
Assist the HR Manager with payroll-related duties as needed.

Experience in healthcare, medical practice, or laboratory accounting preferred.
Skills & Attributes

High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a close-knit team.
Note: Healthcare-specific accounting experience is a plus but not required - we're happy to develop the right candidate.
