American Workforce Group has partnered with a locally owned logging company to find a detail-oriented Accountant/Bookkeeper. This position offers a unique, phased schedule with highly flexible daytime hours.

Description for Accountant/Bookkeeper:

• Manage accurate financial records using QuickBooks and Excel.
• Process and compile critical trucking and fleet reports.
• Oversee routine payroll processes for the team.
• Prepare and file necessary quarterly tax documentation.
• Organize and finalize essential year-end financial reports.

Details for Accountant/Bookkeeper:

• Pay Range: $25.00 – $30.00 / hour (DOE).
• Schedule Evolution: Starts in July at 10 hours/week for training through September. Transitions to a steady 20 hours/week in October.
• Shift Hours: To be determined (Flexible daytime options).
• Location: Cowlitz County, WA.

Requirements for Accountant/Bookkeeper:

• 1–2 years of professional accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel data entry.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage industrial-style accounts.
