Onsite JobWe are seeking an Accountant to support the Group Accounting team. This position will provide accounting and financial reporting support across Finance, Group Accounting, Tax, and Cost Accounting through daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual activities, including month-end close, financial reporting, Capital Authorization Request (CAR) administration, transfer pricing, standard cost governance, and analytical support. Working closely with the Senior Accountant and business partners, this role contributes to accurate financial reporting, strong internal controls, and continuous process improvements.
Essential Functions
•Support the review and administration of Capital Authorization Requests (CARs) by validating supporting documentation, monitoring approvals, and maintaining related accounting records in accordance with company policies and accounting requirements.
•Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, fluctuation analyses, and other supporting schedules to facilitate accurate financial reporting.
•Assist with Group Accounting reporting activities by monitoring legal entity submissions, validating financial data, researching reporting issues between ERP and consolidation systems (GLA/HFM), and preparing analyses to support financial reporting and regional controllership.
•Maintain global intercompany transfer pricing data and perform periodic transfer price audits, researching discrepancies and supporting the resolution of intercompany accounting issues.
•Analyze general ledger activity and large data sets using ERP systems, Excel, and Power Query to support account reconciliations, reporting requests, financial analyses, and ad hoc business needs.
•Support internal and external audits, accounting integration activities, process improvement initiatives, and other special projects by preparing documentation, maintaining accounting records, and collaborating with Finance, Tax, Cost Accounting, and other business partners.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications
•Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance is required
•Have at least 3-5 years of progressive accounting experience at a large public international corporation or at least 3 years at a public accounting firm.
•Must be proficient in Excel;experience in SAP and/or E1 and/or COGNOS is preferred but not required.
•Excellent written and oral communication skills are required
