Our client, a global food manufacturer in Kansas City, KS, is seeking an Accountant for a 4-month contract position.

Position overview:
 This role focuses on cost accounting and high-volume data entry within SAP and Excel-based systems. The candidate will collect daily production data from the manufacturing floor, organize and record production and material usage by SKU, line, and shift. Additional responsibilities include invoice processing and supporting accounts receivable and accounts payable functions. 
Hours: The role requires working Sunday through Thursday for payroll-related tasks. 8am-5pm. 
 
Skills Required:
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite 
  • Experience with Kronos/UKG and Dayforce 
  • Strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to manage high-volume data entry 
 
Experience Required:
  • 2+yrs experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Kronos/UKG, and Dayforce 
  • 5+ yrs experience with SAP systems 
  • 5+yrs experience in an accounting/finance role 
 
Education Required:
  • 2-year degree or higher
