Accountant

Our client is hiring a new Accountant to join the team. This is a remote opportunity in the Cleveland, Ohio area.

Key Responsibilities

*      Perform month-end close duties and reporting including recording of accurate journal entries

*      Conduct monthly balance sheet account reviews and reconciliations to ensure ledger maintenance

*      Analyze financial reports and records for discrepancies

*      Assist with management of cash flow forecasting including daily oversight of bank activity and preparation of bank reconciliations

*      Coordinate Inter- and Intracompany reconciliations and reporting

*      Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures

*      Assist with various ad-hoc reporting and projects as needed

Skills and Abilities

*      Highly detail-oriented and organized

*      Ability to successfully handle multiple deadlines and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment

*      Excellent communication skills

*      Experience utilizing SAP accounting software
