A non-profit organization is seeking a temporary Accounting professional to support a finance team undergoing transformation and clean-up. The role focuses on core accounting functions including bank reconciliations, journal entries, and accounts payable during a high-volume period.

A mission-driven non-profit organization that has recently rebuilt its finance function following a full team transition. The team is focused on improving processes, resolving legacy issues, and strengthening financial accuracy and reporting.
Description
- Perform bank reconciliations across 10+ accounts
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Support accounts payable processes and workflows
- Assist with financial clean-up and process improvement initiatives
- Follow established accounting procedures and documentation
- Work closely with and take direction from the Controller
- Support transaction processing tied to system integration (RAMP to Sage Intacct)
Profile
- Proven experience with:
- Bank reconciliations
- Accounts payable
- Journal entries
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail, especially in clean-up environments
- Technically proficient with strong Excel skills
- Experience with:
- Sage Intacct (preferred)
- RAMP (highly preferred)
- Bill.com (nice to have)
- Quick learner with ability to adopt new systems quickly
- Reliable hybrid working setup
