    Description

    Accountant Controller requires:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Minimum 5 years of accounting/finance experience within a dealership or inventory-based business.
    • Strong knowledge of GAAP and preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
    • Hands-on experience managing inventory accounting and core accounting functions including Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, General Ledger, and budgeting.
    • Proficiency using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
    • Experience supporting HR functions (such as payroll, benefits, or general HR administration) and willingness to work in a hands-on, multi-functional role.

    Duties:

    • Manage all accounting operations including AR, AP, payroll, inventory, and general ledger
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
    • Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models
    • Monitor cash flow, margins, and dealership performance metrics
    • Partner with ownership and leadership to guide financial decision-making
    • Provide insights on profitability, cost control, and growth opportunities
    • Support pricing strategies and inventory planning with financial analysis
    • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, tax requirements, and reporting standards
    • Establish and maintain strong internal controls and processes
    • Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, and financial institutions
    • Oversee floor plan financing and manufacturer reporting requirements
    • Monitor equipment inventory valuation and turnover
    • Support sales and service departments with financial insights and reporting
