Opportunity:
We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support core accounting functions including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their accounting career to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative and compliance-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Record transactions and post journal entries to the general ledger under supervision.
- Assist with account reconciliations, accruals, and fixed asset management.
- Support bank reconciliations and expense report processing.
- Help track departmental expenses and support budget-to-actual reporting.
- Assist with tax postings (e.g., GST, sales/use, property tax) and compliance.
- Contribute to financial reporting and support external audit requests.
- Learn and apply GAAP standards and internal quality procedures.
- Participate in problem-solving and root cause analysis for financial discrepancies.
Your Contributions:
- 1–2 years of accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
- Understanding of financial processes and regulatory standards.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
- Interest in developing financial acumen and understanding business impact.
- Familiarity with accounting systems and willingness to learn internal tools and procedures.
