Accountant
Salary: $85,000-$90,000 (DOE)
Why This Opportunity Stands Out:
- Real ownership of the accounting for multiple smaller operating companies-not just a slice of the process
- Direct access to senior finance leadership, including the VP of Finance and Assistant Controller
- Broad exposure to multi-entity accounting, consolidations, and portfolio-level reporting
- Clear runway for growth into senior accounting, consolidation, or controller-level roles
- Stable, long-term organization with a permanent-capital mindset (not traditional private equity)
- Opportunity to translate accounting into real business insight for operations and leadership
- Family-oriented, collaborative culture that values judgment, curiosity, and development
- On-site environment with flexibility and "professional courtesy" when life happens
Key Responsibilities for the Accountant:- Own month-end close for assigned operating companies
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Support corporate consolidation entries and reporting packages
- Prepare monthly financial statements and balance sheet reviews
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analysis
- Partner with local management to provide financial insight
Qualifications for the Accountant:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2-3 years of hands-on accounting experience
- Strong foundation in GAAP and month-end close processes
- Experience working across multiple entities or accounts
