    This position will be on site at our facility located in: Fort Worth, TX.

    Position Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to support the accounting and financial operations of multiple entities. Reporting to the Controller, this individual will play a key role in ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, maintaining compliance with internal controls, and supporting various aspects of the accounting cycle. This role offers a great opportunity to grow within a dynamic and supportive environment.

    Key Roles / Responsibilities:

    • Maintain general ledger accounts ensuring accurate cost and account coding
    • Reconcile intercompany accounts and investments in subsidiaries
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
    • Post deposits and other cash transactions accurately and timely
    • Track and report job costs across multiple projects, including purchase orders and change orders
    • Assist in monitoring and updating project budgets and forecasts
    • Prepare month-end journal entries including payroll, interest, expense, and revenue accruals
    • Prepare and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
    • Maintain fixed asset schedules and process monthly depreciation entries
    • Support the preparation of monthly financial statements and internal reports
    • Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to internal controls and company policies

    Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
    • 3+ years of relevant accounting experience
    • Strong proficiency in accounting and financial principles
    • Commercial Real Estate experience preferred
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; strong general computer skills

    Working Conditions:

    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
    • Positions self to install equipment, including under desks.
    • Moves throughout the building to access files.
    • Must be able to comprehend and follow written and oral instructions.
    • Must be able to complete tasks even with frequent interruptions.
    • Must be able to use discretion and independent judgment as needed.
    • Must be able to speak clearly on the phone and to fellow workers.
