Accountant

 Responsibilities

- Accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, including invoice processing and collections

- Perform general ledger reconciliation to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

- Collaborate with controller to prepare financial statements and reports

- Support the financial auditing process by providing necessary documentation and information

- Utilize accounting software to record, track, and analyze financial data

- Assist with regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Skills

- Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and practices

- Proficiency in using accounting software ideally Great Plains

- Experience with general ledger reconciliation

- Familiarity with regulatory reporting requirements

- Strong Excel skills including pivot table and v-look ups

- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
