Essential Job Functions:
Establish month end close deadlines by preparing and analyzing journal entries
Ensure timely and accurate recording of financial transactions and maintain organized financial records
Conduct audits, analyze finance data to ensure accuracy and compliance to Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures (GAAP) to maintain financial integrity
Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes, provide proactive analysis and optimize financial performance
Serve as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed
Maintain confidential financial record information
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or a related field
0-3 years of experience in accounting/finance
Understanding of financial reporting requirements, GAAP and tax
CPA or working towards certification preferred
