Accountant - Grant - Controllers Office Salary Depends on Qualifications Location Cape Girardeau, MO Job Type Full-Time Job Number 202400407 Division Finance and Administration Department Accounting Services Opening Date 01/24/2025 Description Benefits Position Summary Accountant - GrantControllers OfficeFull timePrimary Responsibilities Provide analytical oversight, fulfills compliance requirements, and performs post-award accounting for grants and contractsWork closely with staff in other departments, stays abreast of new regulations and guidance from sponsoring agencies, researches and resolves problems, and proactively ensures grant and contracts administration complies with institutional, agency, and governmental policies and procedures Reconcile and prepare grant and other invoices, monitor state appropriations, complete electronic draws on government/agency websites, approve expenditures, monitor budgets and ensure compliance with Uniform Guidance, grant agreements and University policies and proceduresPrepare financial and grant internal and external reports, surveys and other analysis using Excel, Access, Word and Banner.
