What You'll Do:

Perform general ledger reconciliations with exceptional accuracy.
Research, prepare, and post general ledger journal entries using the Fiserv Wisdom core processing system.
Investigate and resolve complex reconciliation discrepancies and balancing issues.
Identify root causes of out-of-balance conditions and implement corrective solutions.
Research transaction activity and accounting records to resolve exceptions efficiently.
Maintain compliance with internal accounting policies and industry standards.
Collaborate with accounting and operations teams to resolve outstanding financial issues.
Prioritize multiple assignments while meeting daily, weekly, and month-end deadlines.
Maintain organized documentation supporting reconciliations and journal entries.
Assist with additional accounting and financial projects as needed.

What We're Looking For:

Extensive hands-on experience with the Fiserv Wisdom core processing system (required).
Previous accounting experience within a credit union or bank.
Strong background performing general ledger reconciliations.
Proven experience researching and posting GL journal entries in Fiserv Wisdom.
Demonstrated success resolving complex reconciliation outages and balancing discrepancies.
Thorough understanding of financial institution accounting practices.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Experience supporting month-end close and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are a plus.
