Job Overview
The Junior Analyst supports the R2R function by executing low-complexity, clearly defined accounting activities within a limited scope, following established procedures and templates. The Analyst I operates with close supervision while developing foundational accounting, systems, and process knowledge
Job Requirements
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS
- Journal entry preparation
- Execution of reconciliations using predefined templates
- Support fixed assets, cash management or intercompany tasks under supervision
- Support month-end close activities for assigned processes.
- Ensure tasks are executed accurately and on time according to procedures.
- Escalate issues or inconsistencies to senior team members.
- Adhere to internal controls and compliance requirements.
- Actively participate in training and learning initiatives.

- Basic accounting knowledge (GAAP concepts).
- Developing analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Willingness to learn and accept feedback.
- Basic English and Spanish communication skills.
EXPERIENCE & EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- 0-2+ years of relevant accounting experience (or internships).
- Exposure to general accounting, AP or AR processes preferred.
- Basic experience with ERP systems and MS Excel preferred.
- Technical degree in accounting or undergraduate degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (in progress or completed).
