Job Accountabilities
Assist with maintaining the general ledger including preparing journal entries with proper supporting documentation.
Perform routine account reconciliations and assist in researching and resolving reconciling items.
Support monthly and quarterly close activities by preparing standard schedules variance explanations and other analyses as assigned.
Help ensure balance sheet accounts are accurately stated and aligned with the general ledger.
Assist in reviewing financial results and identifying unusual trends or variances.
Support SOX compliance activities by completing assigned control tasks accurately and on time.
Partner with cross-functional teams Fluidcare GFBS Consolidations to gather information and support reporting needs.
Complete ad hoc analyses and projects as requested by management.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts to streamline accounting processes and enhance accuracy.
Required Skills and Competencies
Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Foundational understanding of accounting principles familiarity with US GAAP is a plus
Experience with month-end close processes account analysis or internship experience is preferred
SOX-404 experience is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
Ability to manage multiple tasks prioritize effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Proficiency in MS Office Suite Excel Word PowerPoint. Advanced Excel is a plus
Experience with accounting systems is preferred JDE or Blackline experience is a plus
Demonstrated initiative and desire to grow your career as the company continues to expand
Education Experience and Training
Bachelor s degree in accounting.
1-3 years of relevant work experience
Experience in manufacturing or chemicals industry is a plus but not required.
