What you’ll do
You’ll support core accounting operations with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
General ledger & financial data integrity
  • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
  • Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support general ledger activity
  • Ensure financial data is complete, accurate, and aligned with accounting standards
Reconciliations & close support
  • Perform account reconciliations, including bank statements, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger accounts
  • Support the monthly and year-end close process
  • Investigate discrepancies and resolve variances in a timely manner
Financial reporting & analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Support ad hoc financial analysis and reporting needs
  • Contribute to accurate and timely financial reporting
Audit, compliance & process improvement
  • Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and responding to requests
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
Expense management & cross-functional support
  • Review and process expenses, ensuring proper allocation and identifying cost savings opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide accounting support and insights
  • Contribute to special projects and ad hoc initiatives as needed

What you’ll bring (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards (GAAP)
  • Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Communication: Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to have (Preferred)
  • Experience: Knowledge and experience with GAAP, sales tax, acquisitions, intercompany transactions, or full‑cycle inventory accounting; 1–2 years of public accounting experience

Work environment & physical requirements
  • Hybrid work environment: 3 days in-office at our Mesa, AZ headquarters and 2 days remote
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
