This role is responsible for the application of a broad knowledge of accounting principles in the analysis and evaluation of program financials (Orders, sales, income, backlog, inventory, receivables) to ensure compliance with established policies and practices; providing support and guidance to the program finance community in the review and reporting of program financial results; and providing contribution to the program accounting staff in the performance of their responsibilities. Roles and Responsibilities: Monthly/Quarterly/Year-end Closings - overseeing the preparation and execution of closing requirements. Account Reconciliations - Prepare monthly account reconciliations of company balance sheet accounts (inventory, unbilled receivables) to ensure that reported statements reconcile to the company books of record, and all reconciling items are properly accounted for.
