As an Accountant I, you will be responsible for applying fundamental accounting principles to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports. You will compile and analyze financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, and verify accuracy. You will support the control of accounts and records in areas such as cash application, disbursements, expenses (inclusive of accruals), and revenue; ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.

Responsibilities
Compile and analyze financial information to record transactions accurately.
Prepare and verify financial statements, reports, and reconciliations.
Assist in the preparation of accounting schedules and reports.
Ensure adherence to accounting and auditing policies and procedures.
Provide support during internal and external audits.
Analyze account variances and provide narrative for management review.
Review allocation coding on indirect purchase requests.
Learn company process and continually look for efficiencies and ways to automate.
Cross-departmental communication in support of transactions.
Communicate financial information and findings to management.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
0 - 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
Detail oriented with strong analytical abilities.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification, pursuing, or plan to pursue.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Strong organizational and communication skills.
Able to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Previous exposure to automated accounting systems.
Exposure to AI tools including Microsoft Copilot
Essential Functions:

Hand/finger dexterity for data entry and document handling.
