Accountant II \ 7

We're hiring an  Accountant to join Global Healthcare organization Corporate Accounting team in Irving, TX. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional with strong  general ledger and month-end close experience who wants to grow within a large healthcare organization.

Must haves:

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
• Minimum 2-3 years of accounting experience in Healthcare environment
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Experience General Ledger accounting experience and analyzing financial statements and account activity with journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close

What You'll Do

• Prepare and post month-end journal entries in accordance with  US GAAP
• Analyze and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation
• Evaluate account classifications and financial statement impacts
• Support the monthly close process and financial reporting activities
• Collaborate with various accounting teams across the organization

• Payroll
• Lease Accounting
• Intercompany Accounting
• Physician Group Accounting
• Grant Accounting
• Corporate Accounting
• And other specialized accounting functions
