JOB SUMMARY
Reporting directly to the Assistant Financial Director, responsible for performing highly specialized and complex professional accounting duties in accordance to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB), and applicable laws, codes, and regulations. Position performs duties under minimal supervision.

Do you have a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or similar field with major coursework in accounting or finance and three (3) years of accounting experience?

Do you have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and financial systems?

Do you possess demonstrated knowledge of federal and state laws and rules, regulations, procedures relevant to grant funding?

Describe your experience with grant/project accounting, balancing and reconciling the revenue/expenditures to the general ledger accounts and financial reporting system.

Do you possess or have the ability to obtain a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire?

Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must be able to pass a comprehensive criminal records check. The offer of employment will be contingent upon a non-disqualifying criminal history background check, provided by County. I am able to meet this requirement.
