We are seeking an experienced Accountant II to support a variety of accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, inventory accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, and month-end close activities. This is an excellent temp to hire opportunity for a detail-oriented accounting professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and contributing to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries for multiple entities
Reconcile general ledger accounts, inventory, cash, and daily transactions
Manage accounts receivable, collections, cash receipts, credit invoices, and customer rebates
Process accounts payable, ACH payments, wire transfers, and vendor invoices
Maintain customer and vendor records, including credit approvals and ERP system setup
Support sales tax administration and exemption certificate tracking
Participate in month-end and year-end close processes
Manage financial records, documentation, and compliance-related reporting
Utilize vendor portals to submit invoices and track payments
Assist with variance analysis, inventory accounting, and other accounting projects
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent related experience; must be a CPA or be CPA eligible
2+ years of accounting experience required
Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel
Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
High level of accuracy, professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a collaborative environment
Pay Details: $31.25 to $41.00 per hour
