Job Overview

The Senior Analyst manages high-complexity and high-impact accounting processes, acting as a Subject Matter Expert within the R2R function. The role requires advanced judgment, broad process understanding, and active contribution to regional and global initiatives.

Nature and Overall Purpose of the Role Performed

  • Own and execute complex accounting areas with significant financial impact.
  • Support team capability building and process optimization.

Job Requirements

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS

  • Function as SME for complex R2R topics and accounting judgments.
  • Perform and review complex reconciliations and close activities.
  • Prepare and review financial reporting packages.
  • Coordinate audit activities and respond to auditor inquiries.
  • Coach junior and intermediate analysts.
  • Lead workstreams within process improvement or transformation initiatives.
  • Function as deputy to the Team Leader during peak periods.

What your background should look like

COMPETENCIES & SKILLS

  • Strong accounting and GAAP knowledge.
  • Advanced analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • High proficiency in ERP systems and Excel.
  • Effective communication in English and Spanish
  • Effective mentoring and training skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration, or equivalent combination of education
  • At least 4+ years of progressively responsible experience in General Accounting, including exposure to complex, high impact accounting areas and audits.
  • Experience in Shared Service Center (preferable)
