These roles focus on fiscal operations, grant management, budgeting, and financial reporting.Oakland Fire Department As an Accountant III in the Fiscal & Administrative Services Division, you will support the department's $234 million budget, handle procure‑to‑pay, grant & project management, and assist with financial reporting. You will supervise two Accountant II and develop fiscal oversight across purchasing, budget changes, labor distribution, and other accounting adjustments.Finance Department As an Accountant III in the Controller's Bureau, you will manage day‑to‑day accounting, year‑end closing, cash reconciliation, labor distribution, and general ledger adjustments.
