The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development (EOLWD), which includes the Departments of Unemployment Assistance (DUA), MassHire Career Services (MDCS), Industrial Accidents (DIA), Labor Standards (DLS), Labor Relations (DLR), Family and Medical Leave (DFML), Apprentice Standards (DAS), and Economic Research (DER) manages the Commonwealth''s workforce development and labor departments to ensure that workers, employers, and the unemployed have the tools and training needed to succeed in the Massachusetts economy.
Under the direction of the Treasury Operations Manager, the incumbent provides assistance and support to the unit, its supervisor and the financial management team to operate the Secretariat''s cash accounts, which includes maintaining cash records and reconciling assigned bank account transactions, monitoring and processing daily cash flow activities and providing backup and technical support for Treasury Operations. MINIMUM ENTRANCE REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have at least (A) three years of full-time, or equivalent part-time, professional experience in accounting or auditing, of which at least (B) one year must have been in a supervisory, administrative or managerial capacity, or (C) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.
Substitutions:
I. An Associate''s degree with a major in accounting, business administration or business management may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the required (A) experience.*
II. A Bachelor''s degree with a major in accounting, business administration or business management may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required (A) experience.*
