Corporate Accountant

Role Summary
The Corporate Accountant will support a high visibility integration initiative, focusing on strengthening accounting operations and ensuring data accuracy across systems. This role plays a key part in maintaining financial integrity by analyzing transactions, resolving discrepancies, and supporting core accounting processes.

This position requires a strong foundation in accounting principles and the ability to work independently while managing multiple workstreams. You will contribute to general ledger activities, reporting, and process improvements while navigating a dynamic, acquisition driven environment.

Key Responsibilities
• Prepare and review journal entries, general ledger activity, and account reconciliations
• Clean up accounts and track financial transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Analyze and research discrepancies across financial systems and data sources
• Maintain and monitor records of assets, liabilities, and financial transactions in compliance with GAAP
• Support monthly close activities including reporting of revenues and expenditures
• Track and maintain fixed asset data and ensure proper accounting treatment
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to support integration and accounting system updates
• Develop and maintain documentation of accounting processes and procedures

Key Requirements
• 5 or more years of accounting experience with at least 2 years in a senior level role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• Strong understanding of GAAP and core financial statements including balance sheet and P and L
• Experience working in a fast paced environment within a publicly traded organization preferred
• Hands on experience with general accounting, fixed assets, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Oracle Fusion and Microsoft Excel required
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to research and resolve issues independently
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic project environment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across business teams

Additional Details
• Hybrid work environment with approximately 3 days onsite weekly
• Fully remote during month end close periods
• Standard schedule of 40 hours per week with core business hours
• Opportunity to contribute to a major post acquisition integration initiative
