A growing construction company is seeking an Accountant to support the accounting and financial reporting for multiple affiliated companies. This is a hands on role offering broad exposure to financial reporting, equipment accounting, AP, AR, billing and project based operations. The ideal Accountant will have strong accounting foundation, construction or project-based industry experience and a desire to grow within a dynamic, expanding organization.

Key Responsibilities for the Accountant

• 
  
• Prepare monthly financial statements and supporting schedules for multiple entities
• 
  
• Perform account reconciliations and month end close activities
• 
  
• Support equipment accounting and fixed asset reporting
• 
  
• Work closely with operations personnel and managers to gather and interpret financial information
• 
  

Qualifications for the Accountant

• 
  
• Bachelor's in Accounting
• 
  
• 3-5+ years of accounting experience
• 
  
• Experience in construction, homebuilding, contracting or another project based industry
• 
  
• Strong Excel skills
