Description

Accountant - Direct Hire

Location: Monroe, LA

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Pay: $60,000+ based on experience

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns

• Review financial records, income statements, and expenses

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations

• Assist with tax planning and projections for clients

• Respond to client inquiries and provide professional guidance

• Maintain accurate documentation and work papers

• Support senior accountants and partners as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required

• 1+ years of tax or public accounting experience preferred

• Strong knowledge of tax laws and accounting principles

• Proficiency in accounting and tax software

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Strong communication and client service abilities
