My client, one of the most respected names in the industrial/architectural metal industry since 1938, is seeking an Accountant. Great work-life balance, awesome PTO, benefits, and 401k match. The salary is up to $80,000. This role is on-site in Burns, TN, and is a permanent direct-hire position.

Responsibilities of the Accountant:

• 
  
• Manage full-cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• 
  
• Process vendor payments, customer invoicing, collections, and cash receipts.
• 
  
• Assist with purchase orders, vendor and customer setup, and account administration.
• 
  
• Perform account reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.
• 
  
• Monitor daily cash activity and support banking functions.
• 
  
• Process sales and use tax filings and related accounting entries.
• 
  
• Prepare financial reports and ensure accuracy of accounting data.
• 
  
• Use QuickBooks on a daily basis.
• 
  

Qualifications of the Accountant:

• 
  
• 3+ years of full-charge bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• 
  
• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and month-end close.
• 
  
• Experience using QuickBooks.
• 
  
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• 
  
• An accounting degree or experience in manufacturing/industrial environments is a plus.
•
