Accountant

NCC is seeking to hire an Accountant to join its dynamic Finance department. In this new role, the Accountant will be responsible for working with designated groups(s) to help establish and maintain an accurate financial record of revenue and expenditures. Candidate must have 1-4 years accounting experience, and a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with excellent analytical skills; Not-For-Profit accounting experience preferred.

The ideal candidate will possess the following attributes and experience:

• Preparing accurate and timely financial reports and statements while using appropriate accounting control procedures.

• Independently analyze, reconcile and maintain General Ledger.

• Resolving accounting discrepancies and irregularities.

• Continuous management and support of budget and forecast activities

• Reconciliation of bank statements.

• Knowledge of preparing budgets, Fund/Grant Accounting and Compliance.

• Accounts Receivable and Payable assistance.

• Ensuring financial records are maintained in compliance with accepted policies and procedures.

• Ensuring accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close processes.

Required Experience:

• Knowledge of GAAAP, the accounting standards set forth under the standard framework of guidelines for financial accounting , applicable laws, codes and regulations.

• Highly organized and proficient at preparing documentation and spreadsheets.

• Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance with a minimum of 1 - 4 years experience in accounting or financing.

• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
