As we continue to grow and expand our retail and e-commerce presence, we are looking for a detail-oriented Accountant who is passionate about both financial integrity and the clean beauty mission.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive Accountant to manage our day-to-day financial operations. You will be the "formulator" of our financial health, ensuring our data is as clean and effective as our skincare. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and wants to play a key part in the growth of a high-performance beauty brand.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-Cycle Accounting: Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments to our ethically-sourced ingredient suppliers and accurate invoicing for our retail partners.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements that reflect the true "health" of the business.
• Inventory & Costing: Monitor inventory levels and work closely with operations to track COGS (Cost of Goods Sold), ensuring our product margins support sustainable growth.
• Reconciliations: Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations to maintain a "plump and healthy" general ledger.
• Compliance & Tax: Coordinate with external tax professionals for annual filings and ensure all sales tax (multi-state e-commerce) is accurately tracked and filed.
• Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements in our accounting workflows to increase efficiency as we scale.

Qualifications
 

• Experience: 3–5 years of accounting experience, preferably in consumer goods (CPG), e-commerce, or retail.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs). Experience with inventory management software is a major plus.
• Mindset: A science-first approach to problem-solving. You are detail-oriented, analytical, and comfortable wearing multiple hats in a small, dynamic team.
