Job Store Staffing is seeking a Part-Time Accountant for our client in the construction industry!

Schedule: Approximately 10 – 15 hours per week
Minimal in-office requirement (approximately 2 times per month)
Pay Range: $25.00 – $35.00/hour
Location: Elbert, Colorado
Duration: Temporary with potential for permanent hire
Requirements:
- 5–8+ years of accounting or full-cycle bookkeeping experience
- Experience with month-end close processes
- Strong QuickBooks Online and Excel skills
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Highly detail-oriented and organized
- Ability to work independently and manage priorities
Staff Accountant Duties:
- Support and execute month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliations
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure financial accuracy
- Manage accounts receivable (billing, invoicing, collections follow-up)
- Process accounts payable, including vendor management and bill entry
- Perform bill-to-PO matching and assist with disbursements
- Prepare financial reports and assist with cash flow tracking
- Maintain accurate records across multiple systems
- Identify and support process improvements within accounting workflows
