Behind every great public media organization is a strong financial foundation. Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation (PCBC), home of WESA and WYEP, is looking for an Accountant to join our team and help ensure the financial accuracy, integrity and efficiency that allow our stations to do their best work for the community.
This is a hands-on accounting role for someone who is detail-oriented, organized and service-minded and who takes pride in getting the numbers right. The Accountant will manage a range of day-to-day accounting functions, contribute to month-end close and financial reporting, support audits and grant reporting, and work closely with colleagues across the organization.
This role also provides administrative support to the Executive Management Team, making this an opportunity for someone who enjoys variety and wants to play an important role in the day-to-day operations of a mission-driven organization.

Work Environment
This position is based in our Pittsburgh office. Standard business hours are 9:00-5:00 Monday through Friday, with occasional evening or weekend work to support organizational events and Board meetings.

We provide competitive salaries in an affordable city. The minimum compensation for this position is $55,000, commensurate with experience and ability. Our full-time exempt employees also get access to an extensive benefits package, including a 403(b) retirement plan with 6% company match, medical, dental and vision, three weeks of vacation, sick time, 10 company holidays and 12 weeks of paid new parent leave. We invest in the professional growth of our team, encouraging continuing education and participation in conferences and seminars.
