Job DescriptionPosition OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled Accountant with expertise in QuickBooks and a Contador Público Certificado (CPC) license in Mexico. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional experienced in managing accounting operations across both U.S. and Mexican jurisdictions, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and strategic financial insight.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day accounting operations, including A/P, A/R, general ledger, and bank reconciliationsMaintain and optimize QuickBooks systems, including reporting, job costing, and integrationsPrepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statementsOversee cross-border accounting activities between U.S. and Mexico entitiesEnsure compliance with U.S. GAAP and Mexican accounting/tax regulationsCoordinate with external CPAs, auditors, and tax advisors in both countriesHandle payroll accounting and reporting (U.S. and Mexico, if applicable)Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow managementAssist with construction/project-based accounting (preferred)Prepare and review tax filings, including IVA, ISR, and U.S. federal/state obligationsMaintain organized financial records for audits and internal controlsQualificationsRequired: Active CPC (Contador Público Certificado) license in MexicoBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred but not required)Minimum 5+ years of accounting experience , including cross-border operationsAdvanced proficiency in QuickBooks (Online and/or Desktop)Strong understanding of both U.S. and Mexican tax/accounting frameworksExperience with multi-entity accounting and intercompany transactionsHigh level of accuracy, organization, and attention to detailStrong communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual required)Preferred ExperienceConstruction or real estate development accountingJob costing and WIP (Work In Progress) reportingFamiliarity with payroll systems in both U.S. and MexicoExperience working with international entities or foreign-owned businessesCompensation & BenefitsCompetitive salary (based on experience)Performance-based bonusesHealth benefitsPaid time off and holidaysOpportunity to work with a growing, cross-border business#J-18808-Ljbffr
