Accountant - Financial Reporting

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accountant to join our Financial Reporting team. This is an entry-level accounting position ideal for an early-career professional looking to build a solid foundation in core accounting practices. Reporting directly to the Manager of Financial Reporting, the Accountant will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity through accurate and timely execution of essential accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation of the company's quarterly and annual financial statements and monthly reporting packages

  • Support the quarterly review and year end audit processes

  • Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and special projects

  • Adhere to internal controls and assist in their design and implementation

  • Prepare and monitor assigned performance metrics

  • Implement process improvements under supervisor guidance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting (required)

  • Basic understanding of GAAP

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
