Join our team and play a key role in driving financial accuracy, transparency and business insight across North America Tire (NAT). As a Senior Accountant, you will contribute to the integrity of consolidated financial statements while partnering with cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

• Execute month-end closing routines related to intercompany consolidation. • Support inventory valuation, customer sales programs and benefits accounting. • Ensure proper revenue recognition in accordance with U.S. GAAP. • Perform budget vs. actual, cash flow and balance sheet analysis. • Support internal and external financial reporting requirements. • Maintain compliance with internal controls in accordance with SOX. • Support accounting and finance decision-making through analysis and presentations.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. 2+ years of experience in Accounting, Auditing and/or Financial Analysis. Experience in a large corporate, manufacturing organization or public accounting firm preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP and Hyperion Essbase. Understanding of U.S. GAAP and internal control frameworks (SOX). Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.

Looking back, the founding of The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in 1898 seems especially remarkable, for the beginning was anything but auspicious. The 38-year-old founder, Frank A. Seiberling, purchased the company's first plant with a $3,500 down payment -- using money he borrowed from a brother-in-law Lucius C. Miles. The rubber and cotton that were the lifeblood of the industry had to be transported from halfway around the world, to a landlocked town that had only limited rail transportation.
