Job Description:

Accountant

Location: Tualatin, Oregon (Hybrid)

Role Overview

This position is for an External Reporting Manager who will lead the companys external financial reporting activities. The role involves preparing and reviewing SEC filings, including Forms 10-Q and 8-K, proxy statements, and earnings materials. The successful candidate will manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and review of SEC filings such as Forms 10-Q, 8-K, and proxy statements.
  • Manage the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC requirements.
  • Research and document new accounting standards and monitor regulatory developments.
  • Coordinate external audit activities and support SOX compliance and disclosure controls.
  • Partner with Corporate Accounting, FP&A, Tax, Treasury, Legal, and Investor Relations.
  • Drive process improvement and mentor reporting team members.
  • Ensure the compilation and review of financial statements for a large multinational publicly traded entity.
  • Maintain a superior attention to detail in all reporting processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Prior experience compiling and reviewing financial statements for a large multinational publicly traded entity.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
  • Understanding of Forms 10-Q, 8-K, Proxy Statements, and earnings releases.
  • Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and footnote disclosures.
  • Ability to research and interpret new accounting standards and SEC regulations.
  • Experience with SOX 404 controls and disclosure controls and procedures.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to maintain audit-ready support and documentation.
  • 8+ years of combined public accounting and public company reporting experience.
  • Experience with SAP or another large ERP system.
  • Advanced Workiva/Wdesk experience.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Bachelors degree.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Big Four public accounting experience.
  • Prior management experience.
  • Experience in a multinational public company environment.
  • Masters degree or CPA.
  • Workiva certification or advanced proficiency.
