POSITION PURPOSE:This position is responsible for fixed assets and project tracking, various month-end analyses, general ledger account reconciliation and various special assignments.

 

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to excel at the essential functions assigned. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and ability required.

Experience

  • 0 to 2 years’ experience in Accounting/Finance
  • Experience with Oracle Fixed Assets a plus
  • Experience in Microsoft Office products

Skills

  • Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in accounting.
  • Works under general supervision.
  • A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
  • Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan & accomplish goals.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common financial reports, and legal documents. 
  • Ability to listen and communicate effectively with customers/clients to carry out responsibilities and respond to common inquiries from customers/clients or members of the business community. 
  • Ability to develop presentations to be delivered to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors.
