We are partnering with a well-established organization to hire an Accountant who will play a key role in supporting day-to-day accounting operations and financial reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working independently while still being part of a collaborative, supportive team.
This position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates within a commutable distance for occasional trainings, meetings, and team collaboration.
Accountant Responsibilities:
- Complete cash account and bank reconciliations
- Assist with annual budget preparation
- Maintain and oversee general ledger accounts
- File sales tax returns
- Prepare financial statements for leadership review
- Verify credit card transactions and monitor cash balances
Accountant Qualifications:- High school diploma required
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field preferred
- 2+ years of general accounting or bookkeeping experience required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
Compensation & Benefits:
Salary up to $65K based on experience. This is a permanent position that will start through JFC during the probationary period. Benefits include comprehensive health coverage (multiple plan options), dental, vision, paid holidays, 401K match, life insurance, STD, and LTD.
