A well-established professional services organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Admin Service Manager to oversee financial operations and support the day-to-day accounting functions of a dynamic office environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance, managing reporting processes, and supporting both operational and administrative initiatives.
Contract to Hire role with a pay rate starting at $30/hr DOE.
100% onsite in Westlake, OH.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and participate in daily accounting operations, including billing, cash receipts, accounts payable, and 1099 processing.
Perform general ledger analysis, account reconciliations, and prepare adjusting journal entries.
Manage month-end close activities and financial reporting processes.
Serve as a primary liaison to external accountants and auditors.
Prepare and file applicable tax reports, including commercial activity and use tax filings.
Oversee accounts receivable collections, customer communications, and payment plan administration.
Investigate and resolve customer account issues.
Support various administrative and operational functions, including records management, office operations, vendor coordination, and staff support.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting preferred.
Minimum of five years of accounting, billing, or staff accounting experience within a professional services environment.
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience working with accounting, document management, and business software systems.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality.
