Accounting Analyst

Join an established manufacturer with presence across the Midwest. Ability to learn and grow in the team!

Our client is a family-owned, private $75M manufacturer located in Pleasant Prairie specializing in packaging products for customers across the Midwest. The ideal candidate is a growing accounting professional with exposure to general accounting tasks, such as journal entries, month end close, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, and accruals. The team is looking to bring someone in that is ready to take a step up in their career and partner directly with the Controller and CFO.

Accounting Analyst Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and post journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Analyze financial data and prepare reports for management
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
  • Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation
  • Support internal controls, audit requests, and process improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate financial data
  • Apply incoming cash receipts and reconcile customer accounts
  • Generate and distribute customer invoices accurately and on time
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
  • Research and resolve billing discrepancies and customer disputes
  • Support credit memo processing and customer account maintenance
  • Other duties as assigned

Accounting Analyst Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 2+ years of accounting experience
  • Experience in manufacturing industry a plus
  • Public accounting experience a plus
