Job Title: Accounting Analyst
Location: Franklin Park, IL
Hire Type: Direct Hire
Target Pay Rate: $70,000/year (flexible depending on experience)

Must-Have Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–5+ years of accounting experience
  • Manufacturing industry experience required
  • Strong general accounting background
  • Experience with financial reporting and data analysis
  • Advanced Excel and accounting system proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running in a fast-paced environment
  • Well-rounded accounting experience across multiple functions
 
Job Summary:
Seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment through a mix of general accounting, financial analysis, and reporting responsibilities. This role is ideal for someone with a well-rounded accounting background who can manage multiple priorities and support business decision-making.
 
Job Duties:
  • Perform general accounting activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end close support
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reports for leadership and operations teams
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities
  • Assist with AP/AR functions and other accounting tasks as needed
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data across systems
  • Partner cross-functionally with operations and leadership to provide financial insights
  • Support audits, compliance efforts, and internal controls
  • Assist with process improvements within accounting and reporting functions
  • Manage multiple accounting responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
 
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
  • 2–5+ years of accounting experience required
  • Manufacturing accounting experience strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of general accounting principles and financial reporting
  • Experience with financial analysis and reporting functions
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required
  • Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently with minimal training
  • Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
