Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking an Accounting Analyst position for InReach who will work with the Senior Manager of Accounting and other team members to ensure completeness and accuracy of the monthly financials.

This is a hybrid role in Cheektowaga New York or Pflugerville Texas requires 3 days in office.

What You'll Do

he Accounting Analyst key responsibilities include:

  • Prepare financial statements, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations in accordance to GAAP, IFRS, and other regulatory requirements. Ensures timely resolution of issues.
  • Coordinate various financial close cycle activities
  • Analyze operating and financial statement information and prepare reporting for Senior Leadership
  • Perform variance analysis to determine root cause, make recommendations for improvement of performance or operating efficiencies
  • Provide guidance to department staff & branch management
  • Support or lead department on cross-functional initiatives

What You Bring

Key qualifications: 

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles
  • Experience with general ledger reconciliations and journal entries
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to details
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
