Accounting Analyst - RTR

Koch Engineered Solutions is seeking a strong Accounting Analyst to join our Finance & Accounting Records to Report (RTR) team in Wichita, KS. A successful candidate is highly motivated, self-driven, and has a passion for driving continuous improvement and transformation. The individual should have a solid understanding of accounting concepts, good critical and economic thinking, and strong communication skills. This role is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.

What You Will Do

• Own monthly accounting processes
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual internal and external reporting
• Identify and implement innovation or improvement opportunities
• Assist in implementation of new accounting standards, policies, and processes
• Help maintain and improve internal controls, reporting processes, and audit readiness activities
• Support the accounting impacts of mergers, acquisitions, liquidations, restructurings, and other legal entity transactions

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• General Ledger knowledge and previous experience booking journal entries, accruals, and analyzing trial balances
• Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting
• Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analyses
• Proficiency in Excel, including data analysis and reconciliation tools
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment

What Will Put You Ahead

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Experience working with multinational legal entities and cross-border transactions.
• Knowledge of foreign currency accounting, legal entity reporting, and statutory compliance requirements.
• Experience using OneStream, Power BI, Alteryx, or other data analytic and visualization tools
• Experience with accounting consolidation including intercompany eliminations and consolidating international entities with foreign currencies
• Experience in process innovation/transformation/implementation
