Our client, a well-established and growing public accounting firm in London, Ontario, is seeking an Accounting & Assurance Manager to join their team. Reporting to the firm's leadership team, the Accounting & Assurance Manager will play a key role in managing client engagements, reviewing assurance and accounting work, and collaborating closely with tax professionals and other internal stakeholders. This opportunity is ideal for a CPA-designated professional with a strong public accounting background who enjoys managing client relationships, mentoring staff, and contributing to the success of a growing practice.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage and review accounting and assurance engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients
  • Review financial statements, working papers, and related engagement documentation
  • Maintain and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service delivery
  • Collaborate with internal tax professionals and other service teams to support client needs
  • Manage engagement timelines, budgets, and deliverables
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and technical guidance to junior team members where applicable
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and operational efficiencies
  • Support business development initiatives and contribute to the continued growth of the practice
  • Ensure engagements are completed in compliance with professional standards and firm policies
Qualifications:
  • CPA designation is required
  • 5+ years of public accounting experience
  • Strong accounting and assurance background with experience managing client engagements
  • Strong communication, leadership, and relationship management skills
