Standard Job Description

This position is in the Orders to Cash (OTC) organization within Lockheed Martin Global Financial Services (GFS). It supports Lockheed martin business areas by providing collections and cash applications support, along with offering cash forecasting insights to cash planners, financial planning and analysis, and corporate treasury. Responsibilities encompass metrics tracking, analysis reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, data preparation, and interpretation. The position involves direct interaction with key customers to provide valuable feedback and data for informed business decisions, analyzing collection results, discussing results/driving factors with management, and devising and executing action plans for identified deficiencies are key responsibilities.

Managing cash applications for the Lockheed Martin Aeronautics business area is central to this role, requiring close collaboration with billing, program finance, contracts, business operations, and cash planners monthly to achieve cash targets. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential, alongside the ability to analyze and resolve accounting transactions and balances accurately. While the core work follows a cyclical schedule, the role also demands adaptability to new processes and a commitment to delivering high quality work, embracing evolving technology in a complex financial landscape is crucial. Ensuring compliance with required financial controls and supporting audits as necessary are additional responsibilities.

Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information, process financial transactions, analyze cost and prepare financial reports. Maintains or oversees the control of accounts and records in such areas as disbursements, expenses, tax payments, income, cash, accounts payable, accounts receivables, billing, fixed assets, liabilities. Compiles and analyzes financial information to record transactions, prepare reports, perform reconciliations and review and verify accuracy. Prepares balance sheet and profit and loss statements, consolidated financial statements, and other accounting schedules and reports. May design, modify, install, and/or maintain accounting and financial information systems to ensure an adequate recognition of financial transactions. Responsible for the adherence to and communication of accounting and auditing policies and procedures, regulatory compliance and government regulations and reporting. May be required to interface with various government agencies.

Basic Qualifications

• Finance, Accounting, Economics or related degree/experience
• Effective communication and organization skills
• Teamwork skills and ability to work autonomously with limited supervision
• Program requirements necessitate US Citizenship

Desired Skills

• Knowledge and experience with SAP, or similar accounting systems
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications - Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis), Outlook, OneNote, and PowerPoint
• Knowledge and adaptability to integrate AI platforms to recurring job duties

GeoZone Definition: GeoZones are geographic groupings created by Lockheed Martin to align compensation ranges with regional labor markets and cost-of-labor differences across the United States. Locations are assigned a Geo Zone based on the primary work location of the role.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 1): $61900.00 - $114900.00

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 2): $55700.00 - $103400.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Denver, CO; King of Prussia, PA; Stratford, CT; Moorestown, NJ; etc.

• Full-time salary range (GEOZONE 3): $49500.00 - $91900.00

• Includes metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth, TX; Orlando, FL; Grand Prairie, TX; Marietta, GA; etc.
