Accounting Assistant (Temporary)
Location: Albion, NE
Pay: Starting at $20.00/hour DOE
Schedule: Monday Friday | 25 40 hours per week

Are you organized, detail-oriented and enjoy working with numbers? We're hiring a Temporary Accounting Assistant to support a busy accounting department in Albion. This is a great opportunity for someone with accounting or bookkeeping experience who is looking to gain valuable experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, proficient with Microsoft Excel and committed to maintaining accurate financial records while handling confidential information.
What You'll Do

• 
  Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records
  
• 
  Enter daily production, inventory, shipment and receipt information
  
• 
  Create and reconcile vendor and product documentation
  
• 
  Prepare and submit daily and weekly accounting reports
  
• 
  Maintain organized electronic and paper filing systems
  
• 
  Assist with account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
  
• 
  Support payroll accruals, inventory reporting and financial tracking as assigned
  
• 
  Communicate with plant personnel and corporate accounting teams
  
• 
  Perform a variety of administrative and accounting duties to support department operations
  

What We're Looking For

• 
  Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related field preferred (equivalent experience will be considered)
  
• 
  1 3 years of accounting, bookkeeping or finance experience preferred
  
• 
  Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  
• 
  Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  
• 
  Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  
• 
  Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  
• 
  Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy when handling financial information
